March Newsletter

Like my new favorite coffee cup? Is that true for any of you, or just ME?!

Pillow Progress!

I am in a book club studying “Intuitive Editing,” a very timely and helpful read for this next stage of book writing.

My first step in editing is to experience my manuscript as a reader. I’ve taken a break from It for a few weeks and will read it fresh this week from beginning to end, taking notes on developmental issues to fix next. In other words, it’s the “Clean-up on Aisle 9” stage!

Non-Fiction Feature

A scientific study of something positive coming out of psychology, humor included! This is an empowering read that teaches that happiness does not follow success, as too many folks running nonstop on the treadmill believe. Get happy, and success and many other good things will follow. Don’t worry, be happy; there are seven proven methods taught to reset and train our brains for joy!

Supportive Spouse Shout-Out

…Again!

Remember my shoutout to Tony last newsletter? Well, he gets another big one this month. He painstakingly and professionally renovated my office, made me a new desk, refinished my 25-year-old office furniture, added new hardware, new shelves, and painted the walls and ceiling. He made my office a JOYFUL place to work and edit!   I am blessed!

Yoda is editing Dr. Suess’ Sam I am and loves it!

All the best!
